TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF!

I joined 2550 Engineering in 2019 and I work mainly within software development, data science and machine learning.

Outside of work I’m an avid book reader and runner. I actually got into the habit of running when I started at 2550 and noticed the energy and enthusiasm gained by my colleagues from simply running.

WHAT’S THE MOST INTERESTING THING YOU’VE WORKED ON AT 2550 ENGINEERING?

One of the most interesting things I’ve worked on was when one of our clients, Diab, came to us with a really interesting problem where the solution wasn’t obvious from the start.

In the end, the solution grew from a basic phone camera to an industrial camera and it was fascinating to be part of that process from scratch. I found it very rewarding to be able to define the problem and work on a solution based on that. To then see the solution in action, running flawlessly, was very gratifying. It was a real moment of pride for me to experience the software I was a part of creating helping the client solve a challenging problem.

THE BEST THING ABOUT WORKING AT 2550 ENGINEERING?

Definitively the work environment and all my colleagues that are a part of that work environment. You always feel very included and you’re surrounded by energetic and brilliant people making your work more interesting.

Also, when I first met Magnus and Maria at 2550, I was new to my job domain and in a different country. They gave me a genuine feeling of welcomeness and encouragement to try something new. That was probably my main motivation for joining 2550 Engineering.

SOMETHING PEOPLE MIGHT NOW KNOW ABOUT BEING AN ENGINEER AT 2550 ENGINEERING?

I would say the great inhouse projects you get to work on. One might think the interesting projects are found working externally as a consultant but the inhouse projects I’ve been a part of have been really good. They gave me both the liberty to grow and opportunities to try out new things.
